The Left Coast Chamber Ensemble (LCCE) to premiere the new opera Tenderhooks on an
opera double-bill concert at the Bayview Opera House (San Francisco, CA). With a libretto by Mark Labowskie, Tenderhooks is a character-study opera. Nora and Sebastian, isolated in their posh-enough apartment during a
pandemic lockdown, are surviving as best as they can. With the help of hook-up apps, Nora
receives quite a number of digital gifts that she shares with Sebastian, who succombs to
the world of hook-up apps after a self-realization. But when it becomes possible to turn
the digital into reality, what will happen to the both of them?
