Cutesy: An Art Exhibition showcasing the cult of cute

Whether tiny, colorful, pleasing, or playful, Cute has become a staple cult genre in contemporary art & culture. Basking in childlike visuals reinforces and stimulates self-protective feelings, generating a sense of comfort, even psychological support.

Cute can exist in and alongside many artistic styles, such as surrealism, impressionism, abstraction, avant-garde, and more. We invite artists to submit and share their cute perspectives and artistic style. All mediums and subject matter are welcome except for video and audio.

Showcasing 6 works by Eliza Gelinas:

“panda chef’s rooftop garden” digital print on silk finished paper

“very online” mixed media collage and alcohol marker

“magical” mixed media collage and gouache paint

“sleepy” digital print on silk finished paper

“ducklings with flower hats” gouache paint and colored pencil

“accidentally up all night” digital print on silk finished paper
