2024 Presentation Proposal
I am looking for opportunities to present my music, film and art practice in 2024. I wish to host screenings of my multimedia work, guest lecture on a variety of topics, and facilitate music technology workshops. Following are a variety of topics I am interested in presenting on:
Lecture on: Indie Film Scoring Practices
Workshop on: Demonstration of Music Technology Equipment
Video footage of a live presentation and artist talk I gave about sound design for the film classes at Hampshire College. I also recorded a close-up hands-on video setting up the Tascam recorded afterward to supplement the instruction, and a mixing session of ambient sound in Logic. An overview of what is covered in the presentation is as follows: Intro (listen to a sound design project), Sound design workflow, how to use a field recorder, recording basics, processing audio in a daw, mixing, and effects.
